I began my legal journey later than most, initially considering a career in commerce and banking after completing my 12th grade in the commerce stream. However, I soon realized my true passion for law, which led me to shift my focus to the legal profession. I’ve since built my career on a desire to advocate for justice and help individuals navigate legal challenges.

 

Over the years, I have gained experience in various areas, including civil litigation, cooperative law, and property law. Civil litigation appealed to me for its intellectual challenge and the satisfaction of resolving disputes, while cooperative and property law became areas of interest due to the diverse legal issues they involve, from governance to regulatory compliance. As I continue my practice, I am driven by my commitment to providing effective legal representation and refining my expertise. The opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives through law remains the most rewarding aspect of my career.

 

• As both an individual and a professional, what core aims and ideals do you prioritize that shape your decision-making and work approach?

As an advocate, my work is guided by integrity, fairness, empathy, and a deep commitment to justice. My ultimate aim is to ensure that justice is served—whether by resolving disputes, protecting rights, or upholding the rule of law. These values shape my decisions, client interactions, and overall approach to the legal profession.

Regular client communication keeps them informed and supported while allowing me to allocate resources efficiently. • Can you share a particularly rewarding experience where your legal expertise made a significant impact on a client’s business success?

One particularly interesting case involved a property dispute where a developer violated MOFA Section 7 by commencing construction without society’s consent. I successfully secured a court injunction, halting the construction and protecting the society’s rights. This case reinforced my belief in the power of legal expertise to ensure fairness and uphold the law.

 

• What specific achievements or innovations do you believe have contributed to your recognition in the legal field?

My recognition in the legal field comes from handling complex property disputes. Notably, I secured a court injunction against a developer violating Section 7 of MOFA and facilitated legal action leading to an FIR against another for project delays and financial misconduct. These successes reflect my commitment to justice, transparency, and protecting my clients’ rights.

 

• Reflecting on your career, what have been the most formidable obstacles you faced, and how did you overcome them?

Throughout my career, I’ve tackled challenging property disputes, often against well-resourced developers. I successfully secured an injunction against unauthorized construction and took legal action, including filing an FIR, against a developer withholding financial documents. These cases reinforced my commitment to persistence, strategic thinking, and ensuring justice for my clients.

 

• How do you define success in your career, and how long did it take for you to achieve what you consider a successful position in your field?

For me, success is not just about winning cases but making a real impact for my clients and the legal community. It’s about ensuring justice, maintaining ethical standards, and building a reputation of integrity and expertise. Success didn’t come overnight—it was gained through experience, trust, and dedication to the law.
